Ai, time is flying. It is said that the time always flies fast when you have fun. It’s just that I’ve had so much fun lately that I didn’t notice that the endtime passed by, or at least the entrance of it. I wrote about Blood Moon Theology some time ago, and we’ll look at it again now to see how things have gone. Actually, I think I must be in the new kingdom now! Theology
Before we proceed, I will ask you and encourage you strongly to read this entire post. This will save you for lot of frustration and fear, also a deception into which the Bible does not speak of at all.
Since there are more than Mr. Hagee who spread around false and corrupt teaching, which also John Shorey, Hal Lindsey, Jonathan Cahn, Mark Biltz and a bunch others do, will I here give a few strong examples and evidence from the Bible that disproves their teaching.
This applies not only to these guys from USA, but also from other parts of the world, including Norway where we also have many strong voices for this same false teaching. Although many do not follow Shorey, Hagee and the others, they still have very similar end-time eschatology; Dispensationalism. Continue reading Looking Back on Blood Moon Prophecy
Yes, it’s time again for the “end-time prophets” to announce about some obvious natural phenomena which will come again and again… and again, as a sign of major traumatic things that will happen either to Israel or the whole world. In this days it’s the “Blood Moon” which is trendy, and John Hagee is maybe the one who shouts loudest in the “prophecy-chorus” about the blood moon.
John Hagee, one of the major voice within Bood Moon Theology/Prophecy/divination and is author of “Four Blood moon,” a book on the New York Times best seller list (Do not waste your money by buing the book, the explanation is as follows).
We are well into explaining if the two references to “heaven and earth”, in Revelation. 20:11 and Revelation. 21:1 is the same, and we began deciphering the intentions of using different words as “fled” and “passing” in these passages.
Revelation 20:11., is not written to indicate the nature of the event itself alone, but more to express majesty and power of God that brought these things to escape. In opposite to Rev. 20:11, Rev. 21:1 have a total different and obvious reference to just a nature of a particular event.
God is obvious here in Rev. 21:1-5 too, where He is identified as the Enthroned One, God the creator. But the purpose of language “passed away” in the sentence, “… the first heaven and the first earth were passed away” (Rev. 21:1), is not written to make a identity to him, in the opposit to Rev. 20:1. In the section of Revelation. 21:1-5 we read: …well, go and read!
In my quest to show what the Bible tells us in different contexts and places in the Bible, it has been almost impossible for me to avoid some theological terms and interpretation. Some people think I might have been too theological and the translations from Greek / Latin a bit hard to catch etc. I admit it myself, theology and translations of some Greek, Latin and Hebrew words have been used, but it is not easy to avoid it if one like to make explanations of words, images and contexts elsewhere in the Bible.
For those who might think I am trained in both latin and / or greek, or have some theological education, I can tell you right away that I have none of this and I am probably not any better than you in this things. What I can tell you that I do, is reading, not only the Bible but also some books, articles, blogs and notes, some have theological content and maybe that’s why it is so with my blog too. But please, excuse me while I’ll try to make it easier for you to read the blog … yes, with reservation to when I need to elaborate on things more :), otherwise it will just be the plain text from the Bible that you can read yourself in the Bible. …go read and see if it any easier to read my blog!
The promise Land was conditional, what ever Christian Zionist says. In other words, the Jews had to keep the law of God to have the opportunity to remain in the land which I have shown by example. Deuteronomy 28 to emphasize the truth, but many have yet to see “the writing on the wall” if I may use such an expression. In Deuteronomy 28 we can also see all the things that were fulfilled in 70 AD, eg. they will eat their own children owing to hunger (verse 53, cf. War. 6:3:4 as you can read in the “eschatology of the Bible 4”). …read more about this delivery terms
Many calories has been eaten and burn since I last posted a post here, but I haven’t disappear totally. The reason for the long time is time… more specific lack of time. I have been in Norway and many other stuff have been going around, but I’m here.
We have went through 11 parts of the series of Revelation of John and are now come to an end. Since I like a series of 12 part better than 11, I want to end the series nicely with a summary, so lets start.
“I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.” (Rev. 21:1-2)
Now that we have come to Revelation. 21 and will turn to “a new heaven and a new earth”, it may be that those who have followed the series, have a clue of where I go. I want to show that the new heavens and new earth are present, but it probably needs more explanation.
We Christians have been taught to believe that in ‘the end’ we will literally go into the perfect new heavens and new earth, dressed in the new physical body through the physical resurrection. Thus we are taught that Revelation 21:1 to 22:5 is about the Millennium that will come sometime in the future. But what I will argue is that the new creation that John presents here is a present reality as the ‘perfect order’, and will perfectly fulfill and replace. That is a new creation presented as an ideal image of the Christian faith in time and in the soil. Curious how this can be? Continue reading!
So far in this series about Revelation we have seen how to read Revelation, and John’s intention with the letter was to warn his brothers and sisters in the various churches on “things which must happen soon” (Rev 1:3, 22:6) – the judgement!. We’ve seen a couple of important characters who played a major role in this judgment, as the harlot, the beast and the other beast. We have seen the mountains move, the 32.4 kg’s of hail falling from the sky and the city divided into three parts. We have even seen the blood that flowed as high as the horses’ bridles. Yes, it’s hard to get away that Revelation is a book with strong visual depictions, but what is left of Revelation?
In this post I want to write about some of the events in the judgment and the meaning of it. I can’t cover every seal, bowl or trumpet because of space and I still not have everything clear of every single verse of them. But the links between the historical facts and Revelation are many, and I take only a few of these. Because of I want to show the historical facts, it will be some excerpts from our friend and historian Josephus, and there again a long post, so I had to divide it into two blog posts.
In these series, I have several times mention that Israel’s rejection of their Messiah and the persecution of the saints would result in a major disaster, which is now happening. This is what the prophesy of John in Revelation is about. A divine judgment on Israel, where the destruction is over the people, land, and Temple. God literally tearing away the temple from the historic scene by using the Roman army, which he prophetically calls “his army” (Matthew 22:7). Continue reading Revelation pt. 7 – Moving of Mountains
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” (Rev. 13:11).
You have now been shown two characters in Revelation, namely, the harlot and the beast who came up out of the sea (Revelation 13:1, 2, 11). But John also saw another animal who came up from the earth, it had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. There are actually two animals we are dealing with in Revelation. So lets look at this another animal from land. Continue reading Revelation pt. 6 – “Another Beast”
